This Apartment complex is ridiculous. If you like being f**ked over, this is the place to move into. A new management company took over the month of March this year, I walk in, introduce myself and pay March's rent with a money order, as their online site is not up yet. They decide to tell me, IN MAY, that I have not paid March's Rent... Tell me why two months later they want to bring this to my attention for one. But, I tell them sure I can try to find the stub or receipt for the money order. Could not find it... Go to Money Order, they tell me without a Transaction ID they will not find it either. I let the office know this, and the go on to tell me they will search with the accountant to see if they can find it. FUNNY THING - An office manager tells me that they lost multiple people's money orders. Fancy that..... Instead of letting me know they did not find anything with the accountant, they call me and tell me it is "MY RESPONSIBILITY" not their's. HMM! I paid, I did my part, you lost it. After already telling me that they have lost other people's, then try to back peddle and pretend like they never lost anyone's. Now they are threatening me with eviction. THEN I get a notice on my door telling me they will fine you $50.00 for keeping certain things on your balcony. Like a trash bag... Hmm... how about keeping the mice out of my apartment. Should I start fining you for each hole I find in the wall, each mouse that crawls in? Or how about the construction guys who were doing the insulation in the attic, who put their foot through my attic covering. Or the plumber who STILL has not put my shower nozzles back into place, I can literally pull them out of the wall. Or the maintenance people who walk into my apartment WITHOUT permission.

New management is absolutely HORRIBLE. I placed a maintenance request to fix my dryer - 4 requests, 5 weeks, 12 phone calls and 7 in person visits to the office FINALLY yielded a shabby fix. My AC broke 2 weeks ago. 2 requests, 6 phone calls and 2 in person visits to the office. Still nothing. I've also called the office about simple things like turning heat off in the gym when it's 80 degrees in there or getting screens on my windows. No action on anything, horrible customer service just to pacify your complaints. I'm giving 2 stars because I actually like the remodeled apartment, my neighbors are quiet and parking is plentiful. I'm on the West side, I've heard only bad things about the East side. Overall if you're looking for somewhere to live that is reasonablly priced and don't ever need help from management/maintenance, look here.

I have been living here for about 4 years, and I absolutely love it! I must say however that this is the 3rd management company that we've had since living here, and it's definitely the best! Royal is in the front office as an assistant property manager, and he is amazing! I was having problems accessing the money from my account and I couldn't pay my entire amount. He not only made me feel so much better, but he gave me an extra couple days to make sure that I would have enough time to withdraw the rest because of the limits on my card. That made me feel so much better about the situation, and about living here in general. I'm proud to call this place my own! Thanks again Royal!!!

I have lived here for approximately 15 yrs. and I love the location and accommodations with this complex. Settlers Point Apartments is a great place to live! I personally have never had any problems as far as Loud Parties, Problem Neighbors etc. Everyone is so respectful of each other. Any repairs are done quickly, but truly I haven't had many needing to be done. Management has always been willing to help if I have questions etc. Would definitely recommend others to live here. In fact, I have had friends move in. The Apartments are nice. The grounds and outside is clean and the area is quite. It is well worth the rent for the safety and quality of service we get living here! The cost of living is very affordable. The location is great and we can easily access 3 different freeway entrances within 5 minutes. The pet fee is also affordable. The new apartment group has been remodeling apartments that look really new and appealing to live in.

The apartments look very nice, since they just remodled, however, me and my boyfriend since day one have had issues. First of all we got a 2 bed 2 bath, but in the main bathrooms the main light switch and the shower didn't work, and in the other bathroom the toilet didn't work. Fast forward a month and our mailbox has been broken into, the latch broken so it can't even close, and mail is stolen. After asking them to fix it for a month and a half they finally got around to fixing it, just to have it broken into AGAIN. What they said when I asked if there was anything to be done about our mailbox and our mail (which is a federal crime to steal), they said, I kid you not, "We are not the mail box police." (This is true, yet my personal information is being stolen, on the property of the complex! And cops never do anything about matters like this when you call them.) Now, exaclty half of the power shuts off randomly house, and we have to turn it back on using THE STOVE. Yes, the stove. Not the breaker or anything. The power company has come and looked at it and says that it is not them, but it is the complex that is causing this to happen. When we talk to the leasing office to come have it fixed, they say they can't do anything. Settler's Point just got new Management about 2-3 months ago, and since they NEVER answer the phone. It always wants you to leave a voicemail, which they NEVER call back, so it's useless. (I've literally tried calling every 10 minutes or so to see if they're EVER at their desk.) All of the things we have wanted them to fix we had them put as high priority, and it took them over a month to even get a response from them about it all. AND they never have any clean up bags to clean up dog poop. It was a lot better before the new management. Also, there's NO extra parking in our area, yet on the other side of the complex they have way more parking than they will ever need. I'm not usually the complaining or bad review type, but that's how bad it is.

An absolutely pathetic place to live. I have relocated and I have been trying to get my deposit back, but no one is helping me out. Zero stars to the management.

They keep changing owners and increasing price for no improvement and maintenance does the cheapest ways possible

I don't rent here - just had a few expietences w management while checking the place out to see if it would be a good fit: very disorganized and received different information from different people! Very frustrating and not an attribute I'm looking for in a management team I'd be giving my rent checks to..
