(Translated by Google) They tell you a price at the beginning and it is not like that, when you go to pay the monthly payment it turns out to be much more than what was agreed upon. It's okay to charge for services and all those things, but be specific about everything you're going to end up charging for and don't come out with surprises later.

HORRIBLE!! I just move in a little over 2 months, it was a great start but is so bad already. Let me start off when we first moved in, our water heater went out, I put in for a maintenance request, never got anything back so I call the office, lady says yes we will send someone out to look, I gave it a few and after 1hr I called back same thing different person “we will send someone” this was on a Friday, Saturday comes around remind you I still have no hot water, well I’m like maybe they were busy gave the benefit of the doubt, well I call Saturday speak with someone who says they will be here in around 30-45 minutes still nothing, when I tell you I put in 3 more maintenance request and still nothing so I waited to see if they would call me or do literally anything well they didn’t… I went three days until I finally got someone to come and fix it bless that person for being so helpful. We ended up getting charged for it which is ridiculous because I don’t even have access to it so how did I break it??? Also they have done nothing to be helpful, they have raised the rent here by over 200$ in the span of two months my lease says my rent is 1300 without Rocky Mountain power and dominion energy we had to set that up which who cares but tell me why I am pay almost 1600$ ?? I’ve talked to my neighbors and they have said the same thing, they won’t put rent out until the first and they will tack on every fee possible. All I’m saying is do not get stuck in this hole like we did, there are nicer apartments with a team that will help you don’t let them fool you with any DEALS. Very bad management, not worth the stress.

(Translated by Google) THE WORST OF THE WORST. The service here is some of the worst you can find in Utah. And if you want to have housing problems, move here; that's all they're good for. A friend lived there for a year, and they charged him even for the air he breathed. The apartments are very old, and their rates are as if they were new. He had many complaints about repairs and malfunctions in his unit, which were never fixed. All the appliances are super old and in poor condition. I know all this because he doesn't speak much English, so I went to the office several times to help him with all the problems they never fixed and that they also charged him for at the end of his lease. He also told me that the service charges are extremely high, and they charge extra for everything beyond what they initially tell you at the rent. He also told me that this summer their pool was canceled due to health issues, and they made up a story that it was closed because of a bad situation that occurred one weekend with people who were at the pool, but that's a lie. The pool was a mess, so they closed it for hygiene reasons. I'm posting this comment in Spanish because Hispanics are their favorite victims. They use the language to screw the poor people who are just trying to have a place to live. Please be careful, don't fall for the hypocrisy they have in the office trying to trick you into a problematic contract. (Original) LO PEOR DE LO PEOR.

For context on my review, I served an LDS mission and during my time out in the world with the addition of my time since then and even growing up I have lived in a lot of apartments. For those of you who don’t know the LDS church will rent the apartment but missionaries could spend as little as six weeks (some times less) in the apartment which was often my case since I was one of the few missionaries that would deep clean. So understand I have lived in almost dozens of different apartments. Additionally I am very familiar with what it’s like to be a rent-or. The business can be lucrative sure but it also can be super rough especially when some people are just going to hate and that makes things so much harder. During the time me and my girlfriend were looking for a place to live I was against the idea of living in an apartment however to hummer her we must have looked at 15-20 different apartments and that’s not including other types of living we explored. So when she found these apartments I was skeptical but my girlfriend’s lease was coming to an end and I didn’t want to live with her roommates. Now here is where I share why that is. Fast forward to the time I’m writing this, we have recently just signed on for another 12 months, When I initially sat down looking at the apartment I asked two important questions for me. The first question was whether or not they had google fiber which the answer at the time was I believe so and when I found out they didn’t I feel as though they heard me and worked towards getting Google fiber of which they did before my year lease was up which one huge points in my book understanding these things don’t happen over night. Secondly I asked if they had any plans towards redoing the parking lot in which they answered they did and were in the process of getting quotes for the job. Now I work for UTA and understand just because you’re getting quotes for something doesn’t mean the job is going to be done any time soon and indeed it has taken them a while but the parking lot is being redone as of 07/31/2024. That said I thought they would patch holes and maybe resurface the parking lot so I was pleased to find out there completely tearing it up and redoing it so again huge points won for the owners on that decision because even though it is a bit hectic right now for parking I am willing to do whatever it takes to have a nice parking lot once there done. Setting aside those things let’s talk about some of the other things I’ve experienced during my stay here. Recently there was construction done on 4700 that did impact our water. The complex sent out a thing notifying us of the fact. What ended up happening is the water to the complex was shut off for a day if not less while they did whatever they were doing on 4700. When the water came back on the initial water did come out brown which I sort of expected because it looked like they were replacing pipes and your going to get dirt in there and that’s fine so once the water came on I ran a little water through everything doing a empty rinse load of laundry and an empty load in the dishwasher and the water is back to what I’d consider normal. Sure my now wife has me not drinking that water but I will once in a while and for things like cooking and cleaning the water is just fine. Now there’s a word limit on the review otherwise I’d continue. So I will conclude with this. I have had difficulty getting maintenance requests completed sometimes even going into the office and talking to someone, yet at the end of it all they are busy, and I have gotten all of my requests completed with satisfying results. Finally, we have gotten news letter on our door informing us on what’s new for the community (like property improvements), when various food trucks will be about and even some community events going on for the fun of it (which I love). I know this is completely subjective, however they have exceeded my expectations and I feel listened to when I have given suggestions and that’s been my experience.

Absolutely terrible apartments. They’re constantly coming into your apartment to “fix” or “check up” on things. I found roaches in my apartment at one point as well. THEY WILL CON YOU INTO STAYING!!!! I was 16 days late to notify them I was NOT renewing my lease and they are making me pay 1850+$ to stay for another month I do NOT want!!!!! After telling them I wasn’t renewing they told me I needed to email them I wasn’t renewing my lease even though they had only reached out to me through text about my lease. So I emailed them I wasn’t staying and they never said anything. Two weeks later I get an email saying they haven’t received anything about me moving out. Mind you I went into the office, texted, and emailed that I was NOT renewing my lease. They said that they had don’t have anything on file and if I’m not renewing my lease I need to file a “vacate form”. So I asked for the vacate form and then they stopped answering my emails. So I had to look up a “vacate form” and copy and paste that way. That was when they FINALLY sent me the actual “vacate form”. The potholes here will SWALLOW your car. They said back in April/May they would be fixing them— they haven’t. Water literally comes out brown in the bathroom faucets. Called twice today, emailed and texted and still yet for anyone to get back to me. They will LIE LIE LIE. Tell you one thing but then take it back and say they never said that or that YOU misunderstand them. DO NOT RENT HERE. Unfortunately I didn’t get a heads up before renting here so I would like to help someone else out. This was my first apartment and was the worst experience ever.

I lived there for a little over 4 years, at the beginning it was wonderful! Until they changed everything and new owners came in, they started adding and adding on to our utility bills then every time we renewed it was a couple hundred additional. They sure do like to charge but not to fix things. Iv requested to fix a lot of things but no one ever came through. Then my self and my husband would go to the office to do the request instead and the office people would say they will pass of the request but never did. We would get so many notices to vacate with in 5 days I believe because we could not have absolutely nothing on the balcony, I would have my kids bike or scooters and 2 out door chairs , but apparently they were not allowed. Before our pool key never worked and they tried to charge us for that even though at the end they took it away to “fix it” but never did. When moving in look at the apartment carefully, because a lot is covered up with paint and so forth. Instead of cleaning the apartment before painting, they just paint over the insects and dirt. The cabinets we had never worked they would always come apart, of course I requested it to be fixed but it never was, the fridge would not close all the way, and of course I requested it to be fixed but the guy came and just put glue, the next day it was the same. The ceiling in the master bathroom constantly has dirty water coming from it from the residents above, did they EVER come fix it? Absolutely not and it’s been a constant nightmare for over a year I was there. The people above flooded my master, my hall and my master bedroom, was anything ever done? Absolutely not, was there ever any compensation for my property that was damaged? Absolutely not. And also the outlets are garbage, you literally can’t plug anything in without it falling. They tried to charge us $250.00 for vinyl repair, so this is for a part of a floor that was no bigger then 4 inches that was barley lifted and how to they “repair it” they just put super glue to repair it, and so they tried to charge me $250.00 for super glue. I could say so much more horrible experiences we’ve had with the apartment management but I just end with this, don’t move in here unless you like having headaches, unless you like getting constantly vacay notices on your door and unless you like being charged a lot and for ridiculous things. And good luck getting ahold of the manager once you move in, she’s never available for you and the problems you have even if the office people tell you to come in the next day to see her with no need of a appointment.
